Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible?
The controller for data processing on this website is:
Jill Maureen Aliasl, Traureden mit Jill & Herz
Sophie-Henschel-Straße 10
34253 Lohfelden
Germany
Phone: 0177 6723859
Email: info@freie-reden-kassel.de
There is no data protection officer. One is not required for this website.
2. The most important points in brief
This website only processes the data that is needed to run it and to handle your enquiries. It does not use statistics or advertising services, tracking pixels, or videos, maps or fonts from external servers. Facebook and Instagram are only linked. When you open a page, no data is sent to these providers.
3. Visiting the website and hosting
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS provides the servers and processes data on my behalf, based on a data processing agreement.
When you open a page, connection data is created automatically: date and time, the page requested, the page you visited before, browser, operating system and your IP address. According to IONOS, the IP address is only stored in anonymised form, and the data is kept for up to eight weeks. It serves the security and stability of the website. I do not analyse this data to monitor you.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is a secure and stable operation of the website. The connection to the website is encrypted with HTTPS.
4. Contact forms
There are two forms: the contact form (German and English) and the feedback form. There you enter your name, email address and message. In the feedback form you can also attach a photo (JPG, PNG or GIF). By ticking a box you also confirm that you agree to your details being processed.
Your details are sent by email to my mailbox info@freie-reden-kassel.de, which is also hosted by IONOS, and are stored there. The form itself does not store messages or photos on the website. An attached photo stays on the server only until the email has been sent.
I use your details to reply to you and to handle your enquiry. The legal bases are your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, if an offer or a contract is concerned, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Just send me an email.
I delete enquiries once they have been dealt with and there is no obligation to keep them. If a contract is concluded, I keep the documents for as long as commercial and tax law require.
5. Spam protection in the forms
To keep the forms from being misused by programs, the website checks every submission with its own protection that works without external services:
- A field that is invisible to people and that genuine visitors never fill in. If it is filled in, the submission is rejected.
- A timestamp in the form that contains the form number and the time the page was opened, signed with a secret key of the server. It exists only in the form of the opened page, not in a cookie. Submissions with a forged, invalid or impossibly short timestamp are rejected.
- For photo attachments, the server checks that the file really is an image.
In doing so, your IP address is not stored for a counter and no profile is created. Rejected submissions are not stored or forwarded. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is protection against misuse and spam.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website sets only two small entries in your browser. Both are technically necessary. Under Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), no consent is required for them.
pll_language: remembers whether you read the site in German or English. It comes from the website’s language switcher and stays for up to 12 months.frk_consent: stores your choice in the privacy settings. It is only created when you save a choice there, and stays for 12 months at most.
The legal basis for the further processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is to apply your language and your choice reliably. In your browser settings you can delete or block cookies. Then you will have to choose the language again at every visit.
Privacy settings
This website has its own service for privacy settings. It loads features from external providers only after you agree. At the moment there is no feature that needs your consent. If one is added in the future, a notice will appear. Under “Privacy settings” in the footer of the page you can view, change and withdraw your choice at any time.
7. Links to other sites
The website contains simple links, for example to Facebook, Instagram and partners. They are not embedded content. When you open this website, no data is sent to these providers. Only when you click a link do you leave the website, and the privacy notices of the respective provider apply.
8. Phone and email
If you call me or write to me directly by email, I process your details (phone number, name, content) only to reply to you and to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Emails are not always encrypted on their way to me.
9. Your rights
You have the right to
- information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16),
- erasure (Art. 17),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18),
- data portability (Art. 20),
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21),
- withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
Please write to info@freie-reden-kassel.de for this.
10. Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe that your data is not being processed lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for me is:
Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information)
Postfach 31 63, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany

11. Changes
I will adapt this policy if the website or the legal situation changes.
